The berry bush is a fairly common plant in Survival: Beginnings, and is a good food source for beginners. Also, if you are desperately needing food, they are helpful because you don't have to make them. They are currently the only source of berries in the game. They grow fairly quickly, and provide bush stumps(for hafts and wood buckets), foliage(for foliage thatch , crude torches, and stationary crude torches)and, of course, berries.
